The Founding 50 represent a special group of early supporters who will help shape the future of the Gallery’s membership program. As the first 50 members to join at ENGAGE level, they are more than participants, they are pioneers, setting the tone for what membership will become and playing a vital role in building its community, culture, and impact.

Recognised for their belief in the vision from the very beginning, the Founding 50 will hold a unique place in the Gallery’s story. Their support lays the foundation for growth and innovation, helping to establish Gallery Membership as a vibrant, connected group of like-minded people. As the program evolves, this group will be remembered for leading the way and helping to define what it means to be part of the Gallery.

Member FAQs

Do I need to be an art expert to join? Not at all. Membership is for anyone who wants to stay close to the Gallery, enjoy member value, and support creativity in our region. 
Is the Gallery still free to visit? Yes. The Gallery remains welcoming and accessible, and support helps keep creative experiences thriving for the community. 
Are all benefits available immediately? All available benefits are available when joining with new offers, programs, events and workshops to be added throughout the year ahead and are subject to availability.
Who administers Gallery memberships?The Gallery Membership Program is delivered by Sunshine Coast’s Regional Gallery in partnership with Sunshine Coast Arts Foundation.

Sunshine Coast Arts Foundation administers membership payments and receipts.
How do I cancel my membership?You can request to cancel by emailing [email protected].

Please include your name, contact details and membership number, if available.
Will I receive a refund if I cancel?

Membership fees are generally non-refundable if you choose to cancel after joining.

Refunds may be considered where required by law, where a payment has been processed in error, or in exceptional circumstances.

Can I cancel automatic renewal?Yes, if automatic renewal is available to your membership, you can cancel it by contacting us. Click the Renewal Agreement Change Request in your email, or you can email [email protected]. Please do this at least 10 business days before your scheduled renewal payment.
Does cancelling automatic renewal end my current membership?No. Cancelling automatic renewal stops the future renewal payment only. Your current membership remains active until its expiry date.
What happens if my renewal payment fails?We may contact you to update your payment details. If payment is not completed, your membership may expire.
