Old Ways, New Marks

First Nations Screenprint Collective | 26 May to 11 July

Old Ways, New Marks is a bold and vibrant exhibition celebrating the creativity of First Nations emerging artists through contemporary screen-printed works. Supported by the Sunshine Coast Council Arts and Heritage Levy and led by respected Jinibara artist Jennifer Kent, this inspiring project brought artists together at Light Industry, Kunda Park, to develop new skills and expand their creative practice.

Showcased at Maroochydore Library Art Space, the exhibition pulses with stories of culture, identity, resilience, and resistance. These powerful works invite audiences to connect with living culture, engage in meaningful conversations, and witness the strength and vision of First Nations creatives. Don’t miss this compelling celebration of culture, creativity, and community.

Old Ways, New Marks will run from 26 May to 11 July at the Maroochydore Library Artspace. You can visit the exhibition during open hours: Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.
