Celebrate the beauty and diversity of Sunshine Coast wildflowers in the Wildflowering by Design exhibition-themed workshop and take-away skills to start your own printmaking journey. 

Megan will guide you through:

  • observing and drawing intricate details of wildflowers, turning these into linocut designs
  • learning the basics of printmaking from carving, inking and hand-pressing
  • creating your own unique printed design to take home - ready to frame or gift

You'll also take home your carved lino plate, ready to continue your printmaking journey.

Whether you're new to printmaking or looking to explore your creativity through nature, this workshop offers a relaxed and creative space to connect with nature, learn new skills, and celebrate the beauty of our local environment.

Suitable for ages 18+

All materials and tools provided.

Please wear closed in shoes and suitable art making clothes.

BYO lunch, complimentary tea/coffee will be available.

About Megan: Megan Ruby Lee is a Sunshine Coast-based printmaker working on Kabi Kabi / Gubbi Gubbi Country. Megan has been printmaking since she was 14, and created detailed linocut prints that celebrate the depth and beauty of the natural world. Inspired by the landscapes and native flora and fauna of the region, Megan's work is a reflection of her deep love for nature and her desire to foster greater appreciation and care for its diversity and beauty.
