Memory Cloth: Contemporary Shibori Sculpture with Nicole Voevodin-Cash

Discover the transformative possibilities of cloth in this immersive workshop with artist Nicole Voevodin-Cash. Drawing on the traditional Japanese technique of Shibori, participants will explore how fabric can become a sculptural medium that expresses memory, absence and transformation.

Through folding, binding and shaping textile materials, participants will create contemporary sculptural forms that hold traces of experience and personal meaning. Suitable for beginners and experienced makers alike, this workshop encourages experimentation, reflection and creative discovery.
